Dr. Schroth’s mission is to empower individuals and couples to cultivate greater confidence and agency in their relationships—with themselves and with others. While many aspects of life remain beyond our control, discovering the areas where we do have influence can be deeply grounding and a powerful source of hope.

After earning her PhD from UCLA, Dr. Schroth served on the faculty of the UCI Medical School’s Department of Behavior & Psychiatry and directed the Stress Reduction Program at Irvine Medical Center. She also led Straight Talk Counseling, a nonprofit organization providing clinical training and accessible mental health programs, as its Executive Director and Board Member for over eight years.

For more than 30 years, Dr. Schroth has helped individuals and couples find freedom from old patterns, heal emotional wounds, and reconnect with what matters most. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the latest research from cognitive behavioral therapy, neuroscience, attachment theory, mindfulness, relationship science, and somatic therapy. Drawing from training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gottman Method couples interventions, complex grief therapy, and Psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, Dr. Schroth tailors her work to meet each client where they are. She is certified by the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and the CIIS Psychedelic Psychotherapy Program.

Clients come to Dr. Schroth for support with depression, anxiety, trauma, infidelity, communication challenges, grief and loss, family estrangement, parenting, dating, and major life transitions. Through therapy, they often rediscover a sense of possibility and begin to see new ways of navigating their world—with greater confidence, creativity, and ease. As an expert in positive neuroplasticity, Dr. Schroth helps clients retrain the brain’s neural pathways by practicing new patterns of thought and behavior. Together, she helps people move beyond what’s been holding them back to create lasting change and a deeper sense of well-being.

Dr. Garrett’s mission is simple yet powerful: to guide students and families toward clarity, confidence, and success on their educational journey.

Dr. Garrett, PsyD, is a Licensed Educational Psychologist with over 25 years of experience supporting students and families across Los Angeles and Orange County. Dr. Garrett specializes in comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations, individual psychological assessments, and diagnostic testing, including evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences. Her services also include counseling for anxiety, ADHD, and ASD, educational consulting, and targeted screenings for children ages three and older. In addition, she facilitates social skills groups and offers services in Spanish to better serve diverse communities. Throughout her career, Dr. Garrett has held roles as a School Psychologist, Mental Health Specialist, and Director of an Early Child Mental Health program in South Orange County.

Her extensive assessment experience spans a wide range of areas, including learning and intellectual disabilities, attention and hyperactivity disorders, autism, and socialemotional, mental health concerns. Known for her ability to connect with students of all ages, Dr. Garrett is passionate about helping individuals who feel discouraged or overwhelmed rediscover their confidence and potential. She works closely with families to clearly interpret assessment results and provide practical, personalized recommendations that lead to meaningful and lasting outcomes.
